About the Role:
The Project Controls Analyst supports the Director of Telecom Services by developing and maintaining the systems, reporting, and process improvements that drive efficiency, visibility and scalability. This role focuses on executing data-driven solutions that enhance production performance, improve data integrity, and streamline workflows across projects. Working closely with Project Managers and leadership, the Project Controls Analyst will translate operational needs into actionable tools, dashboards, and automated processes that enable proactive decision-making and reduce manual effort.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and enhance reporting dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or Other)

Generate and distribute recurring performance reports to support Project Managers and leadership in decision-making

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all project systems

Clean, structure, and standardize datasets to establish reliable source reporting

Support implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of project management and reporting systems

Organize and maintain document control systems, including SOP libraries, version control and automated change notifications

Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency

Build and maintain trackers for production, backlog, and workflow visibility across active projects
-
Produce reports to support decision making.

Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership to ensure reporting outputs align with operational needs and business objectives

Execute ad hoc data analysis, reporting, and system enhancement initiatives based on leadership priorities

Required Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience in data analysis, project controls, reporting, or a related role

Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms

Strong experience working with large datasets, including data cleaning, structuring, and validation

Experience supporting or maintaining project management and reporting systems (e.g., SiteTracker, SharePoint, OneDrive, or similar tools)

Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, consistency, and integrity

Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights for stakeholders

Experience building dashboards, trackers, and performance reports to support business operations

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers and leadership

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) to effectively manage and update reports

Must currently be eligible to work in the United States of America

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record check
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods throughout an 8+ hour workday

Must be able to work on a computer for prolonged periods

Occasionally required to lift objects up to 25 pounds

Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and company requirements

Must be able to maintain composure and professionalism during potentially stressful situations

Job Type: Full-time, Salary Exempt
Travel: No regular travel required
Location: Tyler, TX
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; occasional overtime
