Job Title: Senior OSP Designer

Position Overview: The Senior OSP Designer will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes for engineering designs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all engineering designs meet rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Control: Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Design Review: Conduct thorough reviews of engineering designs and documentation to identify potential quality issues, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve design processes and methodologies to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of QA/QC activities, including design reviews, test results, and compliance reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and other departments to address quality issues and ensure that design specifications are met.
- Training & Support: Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on QA/QC best practices, standards, and tools.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs and engineering practices adhere to relevant regulatory and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in QA/QC engineering or design roles, with a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and design principles.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in design and engineering software (e.g. Pole Loading Analysis Software, Clearance Based Design, Electrical Power Staking Software)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge: 2-5 years of Make Ready Engineering (Joint-Use) or Fiber Optic/Coaxial Network Design.
