Description

Responsibilities

 

  1. Responsible for ensuring that the construction contractors comply with client’s specification when working on Electric Distribution Line construction project. (Aerial and Underground)
  2. Ensure work is completed safely and to design specifications. Project will vary from simple structural upgrades to the construction of new lines.
  3. Responsible for identifying and reporting to the client issues that could compromise the success of a project such as:
    1. Design issues
    2. Material issues
    3. Contractor performance issues
  4. Provide observations and report to the client status of full compliance in the following areas:
    1. Safety compliance
    2. Environmental Compliance
    3. Scope of work compliance, work plan, progress and schedule
  5. Identify and resolve material Issues/Shortages
  6. Perform and document Environmental health and Safety audits to ensure contractor are compliant with the Client’s safe work practices.
  7. Ensure pre-job briefing or observations are being effectively used
  8. Ensure that project documentation and as built drawings are completed and submitted to the correct client’s departments.

 

Requirement

 

Minimum high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience with Electric Distribution Line construction.

Computer literate: can efficiently utilize Microsoft Word, and Excel to update reports and an email client to communicate with the rest of the team.

Willing to travel 75%+ of the time.

Willing to work long hours and potential week-end.

Must pass a drug screen test.

Must be able to pass a background check and a driving record check.

First Aid/CPR Certificate a plus but not required.

OSHA 30 Certificate a plus but not required.
